Preparation
Prior to the beginning of the course, all participants will be able to familiarise themselves with both the training course topic (by accessing the slides of the lectures that will be delivered during the training course) and with the course methodology (by getting access to the course structure and tools). A web site (including a common web space where participants will be able to upload materials) will be developed, providing the participants with all necessary course information such as: course description, programme, educational material and relevant websites, and travel guidelines. The organisers will provide the participants with recent European research reports in the fields of technology-enhanced learning, learning design, and inquiry-based education. The participants will be invited to participate to corresponding user groups (groups of European Teachers and Trainers interested in acquiring Learning Design Skills related to projects serving as best practice examples for promoting inquiry based teaching, such as DigiSkills, Open Discovery Space, OSR, METASCHOOL, eLene2learn, user groups). The participants will be also asked to prepare a series of educational pathways based on introducing inquiry-based techniques in teaching, making use of open digital educational resources from existing online repositories (such as Open Discovery Space, OSR), which will be discussed in detail during the course.
